Flag Day 2016 presented the Iowa Sons of  the American Revolution and the West Des Moines  Elks Lodge 2752 an opportunity to come together and celebrate with a dinner honoring veterans and a program educating about the history of the American Flag.  The Iowa SAR awarded the Elks Lodge a certificate of commendation in recognition of exemplary Patriotism in the display of the Flag of the United States of America.
